I started fishing as soon as I could hold a rod. My earliest memories of fishing are mornings waking up already in the boat with Pop to see the sun come up as catch some bait. My early days were all about bream and flathead on prawns with pop on holidays. It didn’t take me long to warm up to yellowbelly and cod fishing. Freshwater fishing in south east and west Queensland is where I’ve spent a majority of my time, floating kayaks through creeks and bouncing my tinny around Bass dams. Recently I made the move to the Northern Territory and have the chance to chase the mighty Barramundi and the countless sport fish that grace these Northern waters.
