Growing up in Forster, I have been surrounded by water my whole life. Fishing on the break wall and on the riverbank with my dad and brother until I was old enough to get my first 12 foot flat bottom tinny with a 15hp motor grew over the years to a 18ft pro strike with a 225hp on the back. Things have changed a lot especially related to the fishing tackle I used as a kid to the rods, reels and lures I use now. No more smelly prawns for me.Lures are the only bait allowed in my boat.

My fishing memories are endless from deep sea fishing for broadbill and Marlin out on the continental shelf to Barra fishing in croc infested water in the Northern Territory to fly fishing in the calm streams of New Zealand but my best memories are the ones I have collected in my home town of Forster.

Huge jewfish off the break wall, massive bags of bream and giant flathead in the lake and Bass in nearby rivers My goals for this year is to make the Grand finals of both the Elite Team Series and The Gamakatsu Teams Event and to keep on improving my fishing skills and to continue enjoying my fishing adventures with my angling mates
