Who loves plastics? Then get your hands on a packet of Atomic Plazos!
Everyone these days is converting to artificals baits, and the range of plastics on the market these days is huge, with everything from your Bream, to your 7-8inch plastics, which catch anything from Snapper to Spanish — and guess what, Atomic Plazos have you covered in every aspect!
Everyone has seen Prawn imitations, but have you seen an Atomic Prong? Atomic Prongs are, in my opinion, the best prawn imitation on the market. They come in 2, 3 and 4inch sizes, and are the best looking prawn imitation available, with realistic legs and feelers. These plastics are not your cheap knock-offs that only last you one or two fish. Atomic Prongs also come in a huge amount of colours to suit every application, from your Bream to your large Snapper.
I was down in Lakes Entrance over Christmas, and got to head out with my father-in-law, John, and my brother-in-law, Jason, in Jason’s new boat, after we decided one morning to head out for a fish. John and Jason decided to start rigging up with bait, whilst telling me that plastics never work. I had an Atomic Plazos 3inch grub already tied on, so decided to have a flick and see if I could pick up a couple of fish while I waited for the other two to finish rigging up. First cast I felt a bump — I knew it was a Flatty from my time on the water in QLD — and then next cast, BANG, I was on with a beautiful lizard. You can imagine what happened next, “hey Brad, you got any of them left in your tackle box?” Of course I said yes, because there is nothing better in my eyes than teaching someone something new, and getting the results that you’re after.
Within 10 mins of the brother-in-law having tied on an Atomic Plazos 3inch Grub, he was on. It took my father-in-law about 25 mins before his reel went screaming to a nice chopper Tailor, which engulfed the plastic on the drop. After both John and Jason getting their first fish on the Plazos, they were hooked. As you can imagine, my tackle box didn’t have much left in it at the end of the day.
So the next time you’re in your local tackle shop, go and have a look at the Atomic Plazos range, do yourself a favour and grab a few packs. These plastics are well worth a try, and can be easily matched to the Atomic Seekers range of jig heads.
